Do you know what it takes to support this band?

Taking a marching band the size of ours to contests requires enormous amounts of volunteer time, effort, money, food and equipment.  We need your help so here is a rough idea of what's involved:

  • Five full size school buses or charter buses
  • Adult sponsors for each bus
  • Large semi-trailer for percussion, large instruments and uniforms
  • Enclosed trailer for food preparationand supplies (tables, water, tents, etc)
  • Giant tents for meal preparations
  • Numerous large propane stoves for meal preparations
  • Motorhome that provides booster support equipment and meeting location for directors
  • Food for 500 meals PER contest (usually two meals for the day)
  • Volunteers for assisting with uniforms and pluming
  • Volunteers to assist with water/drinks to/from competition site while marching
  • Volunteers for meal preparation and serving
  • Volunteers for moving contest equipment

That's for just one weekend competition!  We usually attend four competitions during September and October so your help is greatly needed!

Football games require:

  • Large cargo truck for pit equipment & support
  • Semi-trailer for percussion, large instruments and uniforms
  • Volunteers for assisting with uniforms and pluming
  • Volunteers to assist with water/drinks after half-time performance
  • Volunteers for moving contest equipment
  • Volunteers to work the consession stands (the band makes money on consessions!)
