We move a lot of equipment during marching season. Here is a description of the trailers and what they haul so you'll
have an idea whether your vehicle is equipped appropriately to handle a specific trailer.
- Uniform Trailer - Goes to all games and contests. Carries 180+ uniforms. Arrives to games early (leaves
school about 5:30pm) and is the last to leave (with percussion trailer). Requires 2" ball, 4-pin flat electrical
connector. 1,200 pound trailer weight.
- Food Trailer - Goes to all contests. Driver must coordinate
with the food folks to meet their schedule. For the last couple of year the trailer was kept (locked up) by one of the
food prep staff so they could restock during the week. Requires 2" ball, 4-pin flat electrical connector. 1,700
pound trailer weight.
- Percussion Trailer - Largest and heaviest. Goes to all games and contests. On game
days this trailer loads about 4:30 pm and pulls out by 5:15 pm. Also is last to leave the game with the uniform trailer.
Must unload back at the school after the game. Requires 2-5/8" ball (can be provided for standard receiver), 7-pin round
electrical connector. Trailer is equipped with hydraulic surge brakes, tandem axle. 4,500 pound trailer weight.
- Gator
Trailer - Open Utility 6'x12' hauling the gator and ATV. Requires 2" ball, 4-pin flat electrical connector.
Trailer weight 1,00 pounds. .Goes to all contests.
- Cargo Trailer - Open Utility 16' tandem axle for hauling ice
chests, coolers, generators, etc. Requires 2" ball, 4-pin flat electrical connector. Trailer weight could reach
4,800 pounds. Goes to all contests.
